Hi there! I got an ERGO (new generation) about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and I love it! I had a sling when my son was a newborn and I liked it a lot, but then he grew and now he weighs 22 lbs! The sling was hurting my shoulder, and after trying this carrier, it is great! I barely feel the weight and the big bonus is that hubby will wear it too! The sleeping hood is great because I can put it on when he has fallen asleep on my back and it keeps his head from flopping around! The zippered pocket is great; we use it to keep an extra diaper or two. I also recently received the front pouch, and it is great! Don't change it! Just the right size for my wallet, cell and keys, and I like how I can put it on the front or back! It is just what I needed for going in and out of the store, or out for a walk down the street!
