I love this product! Hi, I just wanted to say how utterly thrilled we are with this product. My husband, my baby and I LOVE it! We've used a sling with our baby from day one, but at a year old and 25lbs, he was getting too heavy for me to carry on one hip and he's so boisterous that I've been nervous of carrying him on my back in the sling. So, two weeks ago, we ordered the new generation ERGO and we couldn't be happier. I'm back at work now so I have to take my son to daycare on the New York subway every day. Squeezing into an already-packed carriage with a stroller was awful and my baby was too heavy for the sling and a hip carrier I bought was appalling. The ERGO on the other hand, is perfect!
We wear it on our fronts and our backs, depending on how close our baby wants to be to us and it works brilliantly. I only have one question and that is - why is this amazing baby carrier not on the shelves of every baby shop in New York?? Every day I see other mothers struggling with strollers up and down the stairs of the subway or on and off of buses with their babies or toddlers who are too big for the better-known front carriers, but I cant walk more than a few blocks without someone commenting on how happy my son looks or what a great solution the ERGO is. I've never written to a company with a rave review until now. I'm a firm believer in baby-wearing and I think more people would do it if they knew where to go to find products like the ERGO that make baby-wearing possible beyond the first few months.
