I wanted to write to tell you how much I love the ERGO. I am the mother of 8 and own three slings and have used them for the last 19 years. My (final) baby was born in Dec of 2006 and I decided I would like to find a different baby carrier because of the strain and pain in my shoulder with the sling.
After looking at the ERGO, I decided to give it a try. I LOVE it. I am so glad I got it for her when she was a newborn. The infant insert is so handy and easy to use. For people who are used to slings, the ERGO is as easy to use once you get the hang of it, plus there is NO shoulder pain. I have found that the baby can be put in the carrier in different positions, much like the sling. The baby is secure and comfortable.
This may be the most useful baby item I own, and I would definitely recommend it as a "must have" for all parents of babies.
